Like ceramic media, our plastic grinding media are available in a wide variety of grit grades, shapes and sizes. We work closely with you to select the optimal media for your specific workpieces and process requirements.

Overview of the different shapes and their characteristics:

- Cones (K): Have a high specific weight, ensuring effective material removal. Their rounded shape offers gentle processing.
- Pyramids (P): Their edges make them particularly suitable for deburring operations. The pointed shape allows access to hard-to-reach areas such as bores.
- Tri-Prongs (DZ): Excellent for processing complex components such as gear parts or workpieces with grooves.
- Paraboloids (PA): Similar to cones, their rounded form is ideal for smoothing and polishing. Workpieces are treated softly and uniformly.
- Lenses (L): Due to their lower weight, they are suitable for soft materials, offering gentle and even material removal.
- Wedges (K): The versatile geometry makes them ideal media for deburring. The sharp point accesses narrow or hard-to-reach slots.
- Tetrahedrons (T): Like pyramids, their edges enable efficient deburring. Tetrahedrons, however, have more sharply tapered corners, making them better suited for complex geometries.
