The STANKO 3451B is a specialized grinding machine designed for precision grinding of spline shafts, profiled shafts, and similar cylindrical workpieces. Manufactured by STANKO during the late Soviet industrial period, this machine is intended for heavy-duty, high-accuracy grinding operations in serial and repair production environments.

The machine allows grinding of workpieces with a maximum grinding length of up to 2000 mm and a maximum grinding width of 320 mm. It supports workpieces weighing up to 120 kg, making it suitable for long and relatively heavy shafts. The rigid machine bed and robust table design ensure stable operation and consistent grinding accuracy.

The worktable has a length of 2000 mm and a width of 250 mm, with a continuously adjustable table feed speed ranging from 1 to 15 m/min, allowing flexible adaptation to different grinding tasks. The distance from the table to the spindle center is approximately 180 mm, providing sufficient clearance for spline and profile grinding.

The grinding spindle is designed for abrasive wheels with a maximum diameter of 200 mm and a maximum wheel width of 16 mm. The spindle operates at stepped speeds of 2880 / 4550 / 6300 / 7400 rpm, while the permissible grinding wheel speed corresponds to approximately 3300 rpm at maximum wheel diameter, ensuring safe operation. The grinding spindle is driven by a 3 kW motor, suitable for continuous industrial use.

With an overall machine weight of approximately 6200 kg, the STANKO 3451B features a solid cast-iron construction that provides excellent vibration damping and long-term reliability. The machine operates on three-phase power (380 V) and is supplied with factory documentation, facilitating operation and maintenance.
