Overview

The SpectraMax M2 (and enhanced M2e) from Molecular Devices is a high-performance multi-mode microplate reader designed for flexible detection in life science applications. It combines absorbance, fluorescence, and optional luminescence in a compact benchtop instrument ideal for ELISA, DNA/protein quantification, enzyme kinetics, and cell-based assays.

Multi-detection capability: Supports absorbance, fluorescence (top-read), and with the M2e, adds bottom-read fluorescence, luminescence, and time-resolved fluorescence (TRF).
