This device is used in industrial plastic injection molding for precise
temperature control in hot runner mold systems, utilizing multiple independent
control modules.

Power Supply and Construction

• Input voltage: Can be connected to a 3-phase (400V) or 1-phase (230V)
network, depending on the internal terminal block configuration.

• Chassis (Mainframe): Robust, all-aluminum construction designed for
demanding industrial environments.

• Chassis capacity: The chassis features a modular design that is backward-
compatible with most common industrial control cards of standard dimensions.

Control Cards (Modules) and Sensing

• Control accuracy: Achieves high precision of ±0.5°C (or ±1°F) thanks to
Orycon Hot Runner Systems microprocessor control.

• Sensor types (Thermocouples): Supports industrial Type J (Fe-CuNi) or Type K
(NiCr-Ni) thermocouples.

• Unit display: Calibration and value display selectable in Celsius (°C) or
Fahrenheit (°F).
