In 2023, the cable carrier for the W axis including all hoses was replaced.
In October 2024, the linear guides for X/Y/Z axes were renewed.
All work was carried out by Okuma.
The machine was cleaned.
Covers and sheet metal parts were dismantled.
8th axis dismantled.
Travelling column dismantled and removed from the machine. ATC dismantled and removed from the machine.
All linear guides removed.
Mating surfaces of the ZA axis cleaned.
New ZA axis linear guide incl. carriages installed and secured at specified torque.
New ZA axis ballscrew incl. bearings installed.
Base plate for the travelling column installed and secured at specified torque, respectively fastened to carriages. Lubrication lines connected.
ATC including auxiliary components reinstalled and connected.
New YA and XA linear guides installed and tightened to specification. New YA axis ballscrew with bearings installed.
Travelling column installed and lubrication lines connected. XA base plate installed and aligned.
8th axis installed and aligned.
H1 turret mounted
- Install drive motor for 8th axis
- Assemble 8th axis and new H1, set geometry
- Function test for 8th axis and H1
- Run-in program for B axis approx. 12 hours, then drain old oil from 8th axis
- Run-in program for H1 and create defect report for OEG
- Install left door, adjust various covers
- Install chuck
- Adjust zero points
- Check tool change
