IBD Wickeltechnik GmbH KL.S

The IBD Wickeltechnik industrial unwinding-shaft assembly is designed to support and controllably unwind rolls of web material. It incorporates an unwinding shaft supported by KL.S-series foot-mounted safety chucks, a CX.250.4 single-disc pneumatic brake, and forced cooling from a 24 V DC fan. The safety chucks allow for rapid shaft loading and removal, while the locked closure secures the journal during operation. The brake uses four pneumatic calipers, a 250 mm self-ventilating cast-iron disc, and a modular design that enables control of the braking torque through air pressure. The assembly is mounted on an adjustable, wheeled steel transport frame.
