The machine is equipped with a Heidenhain iTNC 530 HSCI CNC control system and features a movable control panel with handwheel, offering comfortable and precise operation.

The main spindle reaches speeds of up to 10,000 rpm and delivers 25 kW of continuous power (100% duty cycle) as well as 40 kW at 40% duty cycle. The SK40 tool holder provides high flexibility in tool selection. For demanding machining operations, the machine is fitted with through-spindle coolant (IKZ) at 20 bar.

Tool changes are performed via a chain magazine with 22 tool stations, ensuring rapid and reliable tool changes.

A two-axis swivel milling head significantly extends the machining capabilities. The A axis features a swivel range of 180°, while the B axis offers 360°, enabling complex operations from various angles.

Additional features include Heidenhain linear measuring systems on the X, Y, and Z axes, ensuring high positioning accuracy. Hardened precision guideways with Turcite counter-guides provide smooth operation, high rigidity, and long-term machining precision.

Furthermore, the machine is equipped with an internal coolant system (IKZ) that delivers efficient cooling directly at the cutting edge, which is especially advantageous for demanding machining processes.
