MML is the exclusive distributor for the globally operating company Power-Tech, manufacturer of EAGLE laser cutting machines. MML is responsible for the sales and service of EAGLE laser cutting machines in the Benelux region.

For around 10 years, the Eagle iNspire laser cutting machines have been setting new standards and introducing innovative concepts to the entire laser industry. The iNspire machine represents the ultimate implementation of fiber laser technology in a laser cutting system.

With the growing acceptance of fiber laser technology as the most advanced cutting technology of the future for the sheet metal and metalworking industry, there is a significant transition from CO2 laser cutting machines to the more progressive fiber laser technology.
Eagle laser machines play a leading role in this process. The consistent development of the machines, coordinated from the initial concept through to cutting-edge fiber technology, has enabled the production of iNspire machines as “Zero Compromise” laser cutting machines.
There is no adaptation of existing CO2 technology to fiber technology here—a thorough, new development approach was key.

The combination of cutting speeds up to 150 m/min, positioning speeds up to 350 m/min, acceleration of 6G (60 ms²), and table change times of less than 10 seconds provides our absolute foundation.

We have installed linear drives on all axes of the system. These motors are located on both sides of the "X" gantry as well as the "Y" and "Z" axes. Why linear motors? These components offer several advantages: they provide high acceleration and feed rates, are maintenance-free, and are the only way to ensure that key machine parameters—like acceleration and precision—are maintained throughout the entire lifecycle of the machine.

The entire cutting machine is based on a polymer concrete frame, a composite material with unique mechanical properties: high vibration damping coefficients and excellent thermal stability. The fast and efficient linear motors are thus supported by a stable foundation that prevents vibrations during dynamic changes in movement direction of the cutting head.

The gantry—the moving component on which the cutting head travels—must also meet certain requirements to guarantee the right speed and precision during operation. It needs to be as lightweight as possible while offering optimal rigidity. Carbon fiber meets all these requirements, enabling extremely precise and dynamic cuts.

eVa Cutting Head — The eVa cutting head, which we have specially developed for fiber lasers and rated for up to 20 kW of power, solves all previously known issues for laser users. Its unmatched resistance to contamination, thanks to fixed and fully encapsulated optics, is unique and enables on-site servicing, as all sensors are located externally. The distance between the protective glass and the nozzle is three times greater than in comparable cutting heads (355 mm), which extends the life of the protective glass up to 10 times longer.

The pallet changer is fully automated. Components are kept to a minimum, it is so simple and robust that it operates completely hydraulics-free. Due to the simultaneous movement of both tables, a complete table change is possible in under 10 seconds.
