The Z-compact® welded plate heat exchanger combines the thermal efficiency of a plate heat exchanger with the mechanical robustness of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger.

Under equivalent operating conditions, the Z-compact® offers better heat transfer than a conventional tube-and-shell heat exchanger. Its heat transfer surface is more efficient and its pressure drops are lower.
