GENERAL FEATURES: CNC machining center with a fixed machine table and a moving tool carrier in a portal design for drilling and milling operations on panels made of various materials (chipboard, MDF, solid wood, plastic, etc.). MACHINE STRUCTURE: The base structure is a monolithic design made of thick-walled material, reinforced by welded-in parts across the entire machine bed, making it extremely stable. The table design, with a large base, ensures long-lasting precision and stability. The machine layout allows the user an optimal workflow despite a minimum of space. The mobile portal carrier is made from a solid monoblock. It is positioned in the X-direction on prismatic, ground guides using ball screw slides. On this mobile tool carrier, the working unit is in turn attached to prismatic, ground guides and the ball screw slide. Axis movement is achieved using "brushless" motors in the X/Y/Z axes. The drive system operates in the X-axis via a pre-tensioned precision rack and pinion drive, and in the Y/Z axes via ground ball screws of the highest precision class. AXIS MOVEMENT: The movement of all axes takes place on prism linear guides with a large cross-section and ball screw shoes with a large contact surface, which ensure optimal sliding even at the highest speeds and accelerations. The precise and rapid positioning of the moving portal (X-axis) is achieved by a pinion and rack with helical teeth. Ball screws with a large cross-section ensure the accurate positioning of the working unit along the moving portal (Y and Z axes). The perfect mechanical dynamics and maximum positioning accuracy are controlled by high-quality drives and brushless motors. STANDARD MACHINE DESIGN: Milling spindle with 5-axis positioning, 11kW (15HP), HSK63, 1200-20000 RPM. The machining unit consists of a powerful 11 kW (15 HP) motor, which is liquid-cooled and capable of 5-axis positioning. This feature enables machining operations to be performed with a tool that can be oriented in any direction; therefore, fewer angular movements are required. The base structure of the milling unit is based on a design with two non-orthogonal axes that intersect next to the tool. This feature guarantees a robust carrier for heavy-duty milling applications. Thanks to the non-orthogonal axes, it is possible to perform numerous repositionings without using too much space. This allows the machining of complex geometries without the risk of collision with the workpiece and achieves an angle of -10° in relation to the machine table. All machining operations are facilitated by the small dimensions of the group in relation to the rotation axis of the spindle: when the group is in a horizontal position, the dimension is only 35mm. WORK TABLE TV: The work table is designed to guarantee the operator maximum "freedom of movement." The vacuum quick-change clamping system provides maximum flexibility with precise positioning and optimal work piece holding.
