Impala IMPALA- Multibeam

The device is used for laser surface structuring. In this process, a laser beam is split into many identical sub-beams (multibeam) to process large areas simultaneously. The aim is not cutting but targeted modification of the surface at the micro-/nanometer level.

- Often uses IR lasers (invisible!)
- Very high pulse energy
- Multibeam optics (diffractive optics)
- Controlled via industrial PC/PLC
- Not hand-guided

The laser is classified as Laser Class 4!!

The laser was more or less not in operation with us! The supply was connected, but the PC displayed various error messages.

An inspection is possible at any time, the system is no longer connected to power.
