HB-Therm Flow

HB-Therm: "Flow-5" for monitoring and controlling temperature control circuits

Flow-5 available with four, six, or eight external circuits, optionally equipped with ball valves.
Water-based flow meter and controller "Flow-5". This device is used to monitor and control parallel-connected temperature control circuits in the injection molding process.

The "Flow-5" is available for media temperatures up to 120°C, and with four, six, eight, or 16 circuits.
All media-carrying components are made of stainless steel. Flow-optimized precision cast parts and large flow cross-sections are designed to reduce pressure loss. The devices can be installed directly into the injection molding machine and connected to the mold with short lines. The version with eight circuits measures 239 × 175 × maximum 506 mm. Depending on the version, the weight ranges from 10 to 19 kilograms.

During operation, the system monitors and documents flow and temperature in each mold circuit. Limit values, sensor monitoring, and an alarm system are designed to detect deviations at an early stage. Integration into higher-level systems is done in conjunction with the temperature control units or via OPC UA.
