CG 3 – Holding Point Grinder for Die Cutting Tools

With pneumatic drive for high traction force and a patented hold-down system. Designed for burr-free grinding of holding points while maintaining the functionality of the rubber ejection material.

The pneumatic drive uses compressed air to deliver very high and consistent traction force, available at all times without the need for charging cycles or battery changes. The fabric-reinforced compressed air hose is highly flexible.

The large support surface prevents tilting during grinding, enabling the operator to grind the holding points straight and accurately in position. The depth of the holding point is precisely set using the depth adjustment.

The patented hold-down system for rubber ejection and stripping materials prevents grinding into the rubber or profile. The advantage: fewer and smaller holding points are required, and the performance of the die rubbering remains intact. The holding point grinder is available in versions for corrugated and solid board. The attachments are matched to the standard widths of diamond grinding wheels for both corrugated and solid board.

With diamond grinding wheels, breakers can be optimally set. Compared to stone grinding wheels, diamond wheels are extremely robust and thus more resistant to breakage. They are also more durable and sustainable. Each holding point grinder comes supplied with the correct size diamond grinding wheel for the machine.

In addition to the holding point grinder, manual holding point tools are ideal for use. The chisels can enlarge the holding points after grinding if required. Two manual holding point tools are also included in the package at no extra cost.
