Sollich TE 1600 D

Sollich Turbotemper® TE 1600 D, manufactured in 2021, is a chocolate, fat mass, and spread tempering machine. Tempering capacity ≥1,350 kg/h, actual max. consumption in previous operation approx. 1,200 kg/h.
Operating process in three stages:
Stage 1 – Heating stage to recrystallize the mass to approx. 45 °C, with a separate hot water circulation circuit, mass temperature-dependent control, and a water circulation pump with electric heating. The circuit also has a cooling function, so mass inlet temperatures above 45 °C can be compensated.
Stage 2 – Cooling and crystallization zone, guaranteeing a constant crystal quantity regardless of the mass flow rate. Large cooling surfaces and precise temperature control; specially shaped shearing and mixing tools create a high shear gradient and accelerate the formation of microcrystalline, stable beta crystals.
Stage 3 – Mixing zone for homogeneous distribution of the beta seed crystals. The mixing stage can also be operated as a cooling stage for lower starting temperatures or higher throughput at the same starting temperature.
Equipment and features:
• First-in/First-out principle, dwell time of all mass particles is the same
• Siemens PLC with TP 900 (9") touch panel, parameters for up to 40 masses can be stored as retrievable programs
• Reinforced drive with measurement of the power consumption, including visualization in the HMI.
• Turbulent water flow, separate circulation pump for each stage, automatic power control

• Two additional water control circuits in the frame: for heating the mass line to the mixing unit and the mass return line to the tank, as well as the line between the tank and the tempering machine, including operation via HMI.
• Thermal start-up protection to prevent the machine from starting if it has not heated up sufficiently
• Digital display of the mass inlet temperature, separate PT-100 sensor for the feed line
• Safety pressure switch with digital pressure display, shuts off the feed pump in case of overpressure
• Preset programs "Tempering" and "Night" with automatic adjustment of all heating and cooling circuits.
Included in the scope of delivery: Feed pump type SPN 1500 (2"), machine no. 35120010, frequency-controlled via the tempering machine's control. Bypass pump type SPN 1000 (2"), machine no. 35120015, frequency-controlled, operated via HMI.
Connection: Cooling water 5–10 °C, customer-side, 2–4 bar, minimum differential pressure supply/return 1 bar; 400 V, 3 Ph, 50 Hz + neutral + earth. Dimensions according to manufacturer's drawing A 17555-2, available.
Condition, history and handling: Manufactured in 2021, delivery and commissioning by Sollich in week 40/2021, approx. 180 operating hours. Used exclusively for palm oil-free spreads, stored dry in Wuppertal since the end of 2024, inspection by arrangement. Documentation, operating manual and conformity documents are available. Purchase value in 2021 according to order confirmation: €121,320 for the unit including the specified pumps and water control circuits.
