The PUR 2 kg light eSmart bag melter is suitable for edge banding machines with lower adhesive consumption.
Tank size is compatible with all standard PUR bag packages in sizes of 2-3 kg.
Modular system: All components can be replaced individually. Simply remove the sheet metal cover to quickly access all relevant parts.
Melting capacity up to 2 kg/h (depending on the adhesive and its viscosity).

The solid PUR adhesive, wrapped in aluminum foil, is placed into the tank. The adhesive is gently melted as needed.
A glue reservoir is located beneath the tank, holding up to 0.7 kg of liquid adhesive.
From there, the adhesive is conveyed via a gear pump, through a FE-MA-TECH® hot-melt hose and heated application head (valve) into the application units (IMA, Homag, etc.).
The system is completely airtight, allowing the adhesive to remain in the unit for several months when used properly.
