The Multi Vision high-resolution inspection system focuses on the slightest color variations as well as light and dark color defects.

The patented PROsize technology sorts products and foreign materials that have the same color as the quality product, using size characteristics. The machine is equipped with near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) technology for visual color analysis. This allows the sorter to detect defective pieces or foreign objects of any color, even black. It also enables the detection of color defects.

The machine is equipped with a new optical sorter, which achieves up to 50% higher rejection rates. SpectraVision was designed to provide maximum yield.

Newly designed internal full-color cameras provide the best color resolution even for the smallest color defects, while new InGaAs cameras take the detection of foreign material (FM) to a new level.

Innovative ejection algorithms significantly minimize false rejects, and new calibration and tracking algorithms improve machine consistency and reduce the number of false rejects. Default modes and programs for each product are pre-set and tested by SORTEX experts for optimal machine settings right out of the box.

A simple user interface design and individual sensitivity control for each defect make it easy for the operator to maintain optimal machine performance.

The machine's performance can be monitored from anywhere in the world, in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards. Machine setting changes are recorded and stored in the Bühler Insights system, and the SORTEX monitoring system enables real-time monitoring of sorting performance and emergency alerts.
